Graphic Packaging International was selected by inventor Guy Jeremiah to produce packaging for his eco friendly water bottle, as featured on Dragon’s Den. Guy approached Graphic Packaging International in January 2012 with the challenge of developing the Ohyo U-card and SRP packaging in preparation for a launch into M&S.
What we did
The existing samples were produced from a paper material and some adjustments had to be made to convert it to board. A Euro hook was added to allow the product to be hung in store.
The team then developed shelf ready packaging to hold 15 Ohyo bottles. Guy required the pack to hold three rows of five Ohyos and a header card at the back of the pack.
The finished keylines were supplied both to Guy’s graphic designer for own-brand artwork and to M&S for their in house artwork teams to develop M&S branded artwork.
The extra mile
Graphic Packaging International’s management of the packaging product for the emerging environmentally conscious brand ensured smooth development of the project. Graphic Packaging International called on its extensive knowledge of the retail industry and excellent relationship with the retailer to make the launch a success.
Graphic Packaging International has continued to work with Guy and has now launched the packaging for the new Ohyo range, a collapsible bottle with a spout. Ohyo is now sold all over the world - from the Americas to Abu Dhabi.
