GPI’s Rakhee Karia dives in with support for Boparan Charitable Trust


As part of Graphic Packaging International’s (GPI) continued support for the Boparan Charitable Trust (BCT), European Marketing Manager, Rakhee Karia will undertake a superhero-themed skydive on the 17th June.

Rakhee will be jumping out of a plane at 10,000ft to raise funds for the trust, which helps children throughout the UK who are disadvantaged by poverty, disability or life-limiting conditions. Rakhee’s intial donations target of £350 has already been broken and anyone wishing to add to the growing fund can donate here.

Ms Karia said: “I’ve been lucky enough to meet some of the young beneficiaries of the trust, giving me a first-hand experience of the genuine difference it makes to their lives. I’m delighted and of course, a little nervous, to be able to contribute and I’d like to thank everyone who’s donated so far.”

The BCT prides itself on being one of the country’s most efficient charities, reaching as many children in need of help and support in the quickest possible time. Its many success stories are a testament to the hard work of everyone involved and every penny donated supports the trust’s amazing results.

Ms Karia added: “All that’s left to do is decide which ‘superhero’ I’ll be. All suggestions are welcome! And if you haven’t done so already, please consider donating. It really does make a difference.”
